Workshop Objectives
The aim of this workshop is to offer the appropriate time and place to explore and re-charge individual creative processes and to support self-expression, whether you are working as a jewelry artist or as a designer. Many factors may inhibit our creativity: the working environment, education, personal experiences, memories, expectations. The goal is to open up new possibilities and directions by refreshing your personal style, expanding awareness and encouraging individual understanding so that you can identify and understand your own creativity, explore the relation among creativity, innovation and social entrepreneurship and gradually figure out how and where your work could be best displayed, understood and valued.
Teaching method and topics
Power point presentations, key words, written texts, mind maps, brainstorming, reflective process, individual and group talks.
You need to:
– Bring a laptop and examples or representations of your own work which may be of interest to share and discuss with the group. – A Power Point presentation introducing your body of work along with photos or objects of any kind which constitute your source of inspiration.
The workshop is addressed to jewelry artists and designers wishing to engage in a personal creative process and explore the way ideas emerge.
Good conversational English skills are required.
