Anastasia Kandarakis, from her first steps, lived and loved jewelry, which was a source of inspiration for her to create in 2011 the ANAMMA School of Contemporary Jewelry with the aim of fully educating and training young jewelers in a space of expression, creativity, exchange of ideas and knowledge.

The ANAMMA School is the new division of the Afes I. Kandarakis business, which has been active in the jewelry industry since 1993 and is a continuation of the I. KANDARAKIS family business of silversmithing, which was founded in 1975.

At ANAMMA School, jewelry is treated as a “wearable” art. It connects with the body on a conceptual and physical level, using it as inspiration, space, and an entity that conveys values ​​and expresses messages.

The value of contemporary jewelry is not depended on the precious material from which it is made off, but on the idea and the message which it wishes to communicate. Thus jewelry acquires a symbolic significance, provokes reactions and becomes an open invitation as well as the beginning of a dialogue.

The human body takes on a significant role, becoming a place of expression and exhibition. Jewels are intended not only to decorate the body, but also to reflect the inner self of both the creator and the wearer.

At ANAMMA School, our students are trained and discover the art of Jewelry at every stage, by renowned and experienced Art jewelry Artists. Traditional techniques of silversmithing meet new ideas, alternative materials, according to the idea and the way it will be expressed and taken shape by its creator.

Each Course of Study provides the necessary knowledge to the student to be able to practice the art of jewelry in the direction of his choice, to develop it and make it a profession.

The Tachyrhythms, Theoretical/Conceptual and Technical Jewelry Seminars, are held by our lecturers as well as by guest artists from Greece and abroad. They are addressed to students of our courses of study, to professionals but also to those who want to have a first contact with the multidimensional field of Jewelry, before choosing the course of study that interests them.

Distance Learning, group or individual, (online), began during the lockdown period and continues, while we are constantly evolving it with the aim of meeting the needs of students whose time is limited or who are outside Attica and whose physical presence is not possible.
